Only because, I have a wonderful hubby

Dreams fulfilled today..!!

Cherished the memories that brought us to this day,

For yesterday, was just a dream, a wish to contemplate.

A fantasy where in my mind, a fleeting glimpse I'd see ...

A vision of the true desires I longed for endlessly.

And if I had one wish today, a simple wish t'would be ...

Is that the love we feel this moment, Lasts eternally.

Reality has merged now as you stand here by my side;

And as I join your hand in mine, my heart does fill with pride.

For as I pledge my love to you, I see in many ways,

Reflections of my love for you are mirrored in your gaze.

But more than this, I vow to you, My wishes yet to come ...

Tomorrow's dreams and fantasies, this day that we are one.

Tomorrow's an adventure that we'll share together now;

Our future's intertwined forever, through this holy vow.

I promise to remember In the future years and days,

The love I feel for you this moment ..... Dreams fulfilled today.

एक साल और बीत गया, कुछ यादें हसीं, कुछ दर्द दे गया !!

एक साल और बीत गया…

कुछ यादें हसीं, कुछ दर्द दे गया 

कुछ  बातें  मीठी   सी , और  कुछ  सबक  दे  गया ..

जब जब दर्द का बादल छाया,
जब जब गम का साया लहराया
तब मेरा दिल थोड़ा घबराया,
तब तब हाथों में तुम्हारा हाथ पाया

मेरे दिल की किताब में, मैंने तुझे सजाया
मेरी हर याद में, मैंने तुझको बसाया
मेरी हर फ़रियाद में, बस तेरा नाम आया
दिन में रात में, बस तेरा ख्याल आया


धुप में बरसात में, सामने तुझे पाया
ख़ुशी में गम में,तूने साथ निभाया
एक दूजे के लिए, अपने आप को ढलाया
वक़्त के साथ जिसने प्यार को और बढ़ाया


कुछ नए रिश्तो ने आकार लिए,
जन्मों की प्रीत साकार हुई
बिदाई की रीत है ऐसी,
ये सोच के ही आँखे नम बार-बार हुई


वो फिट होने का जूनून सर चढ़ के बोलना,
जिम में जाके दिन रात दौड़ना,
जंक फ़ूड देखके अपने आप को बोलना,
फिट होने तक मन को नहीं है डोलना


समुंदर का किनारा और,
मखमली रेत का फिसलना
नीले पानी का शोर,
और भीगे पैरों का थिरकना

एक साल और बीत गया…
कुछ यादें हसीं, कुछ दर्द दे गया
कुछ  बातें  मीठी   सी , और  कुछ  सबक  दे  गया ..


अपनों से दूर होने का अहसास, बहुत्त कुछ सीखा गया,
ये साल अपनों को  और करीब ला गया...

 

Aashiyana !!

We recently moved into our dream home. My husband and I are too much attached to our new home; we devoted our time and energy to make our nest come into shape and we are happy that it turned out to exactly same as we dreamed of.

We named our home "Aashiyana". This poem is a small gesture of love towards our home :)

Mila do panchhiyo ko thikana,

Jab banaa unka "Aashiyana"...

Pyaar ke tinko se buna ek Sapnaa,

Ek Sundar sajeela ghar ho apna...

Pyaar ki chhat aur vishwas ki ho deeware,

sapno ke indradhanushi rang jinko sawaare...

Sarsaraati hawa ho aur ho halke se hindole,

Kho ke jisme panchhi sa man dole..

Yaadon se bhara ho ghar ka har kona,

Muskurate chehro se chamke gharonda salona..

Khushiyo se roshan ho aane Wala kal,

Aur bado ka jisme aashish ho har  pal...
